The Use of Acetic Acid Bacteria in Biotechnology for the Production of Organic Acids
Abstrakt
Acetic acid bacteria are well known by their capabilities to produce a wide spectrum of biotechnologically important products. Components of the cells and their metabolic products, such as cryptic plasmids, restriction endonucleases and methyltransferases, and enzymes of saccharide metabolism, have found versatility in modern biotechnologies. On an industrial scale, the ability to produce organic acids, e.g., acetic acid, gluconic acids, and propionic acid, is used. (in Slovak)Stahování
