Can radioisotopes ³H and ¹⁴C be replaced in biomedicinal research?

Abstract

Answer to this rhetorical question is simple – absolutely not in near future. Author presents his point of view on the use of title radionuclides in drug research based on his regular participation on international scientific meetings. Mentioned are new very sensitive techniques of radionuclide 14C assay which open new horizons in basic and applied research.
