A Simple Method for Determination of Relative Growth Rates of Individual Crystal Faces

Abstract

A method for rough estimation of relative growth rates of individual crystal faces by simulation of its habitus is proposed. Application of the method is shown on an example of ammonium sulfate crystals obtained from a pure solution or in the presence of small amounts of admixtures.
