Abstract

Eleven spectacular chemical experiments in blue while listening to Gershwins Rhapsody in Blue are described. The experiments have been chosen with the aim to motivate the students interest in general chemistry topics such as chemical processes, chemical reaction  types, reaction rates, chemical equilibria and chemical thermodynamics.
